Cooporation for VinaREN construction and development
On June 20 2008, National Center for Scientific & Technological Information and University of Thai Nguyen has signed an agreement of cooperation to set up Network Operation Center for Northern mountainous area at Thai Nguyen University.
On June 20 2008, National Center for Scientific & Technological Information and University of Thai Nguyen has signed an agreement of cooperation to set up Network Operation Center for Northern mountainous area at Thai Nguyen University.
Based on the requirements on connection to VinaREN for facilitating Education and Training Activities for the Northern mountainous area, TEIN2 Vietnam Project decided to establish a Regional Network Operating Center in Thai Nguyen City (NOC-TN).
According the agreement and related regulations of VinaREN, NOC-TN will operate under the control and supervise of Vietnam Network Operating Centre (VNNOC) and NOC-TN will be directly operated and managed by Thai Nguyen University. Networking facilities and connection lines between NOC-TN and VNNOC will be invested by TEIN2 VIETNAM.
Thai Nguyen University provides working place for NOC-TN, manages and maintains NOC-TN operations, ensuring the connection with regional NOC and other NOCs and cooperation with VNNOC in organizing activities for exploration and using of VinaREN facilities.
NACESTI and Thai Nguyen University agreed on preparing a proposal for implementing of NOC-TN in the third quarter of 2008.
